The Royal Cultural Festival is Korea’s largest cultural heritage festival, held against the backdrop of the country’s main cultural heritage sites: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Gyeonghuigung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, and Sajikdan Altar.

The Royal Culture Festival, which was officially launched in 2015 following a pilot program in 2014, consists of cultural and arts programs such as performances, exhibitions, experience programs, and ceremonies that highlight the history and uniqueness of their respective venues, and it is held under the slogan of “Encounter the Palaces Today.”
