북악산 정의

Hanyangdoseong (Seoul City Wall) of Bukaksan has been partially opened to the public. The section from Hongryensa through Sukjeongmun Gate to Chotdae Rock (1.1km) was opened on April 1, 2006, and the section from Waryonggongwon-Sukjeongmun Gate-Cheongundae Rockface-Baegangmaru to Changuimun Gate (4.3km) was opened on April 5, 2007.

For more people to enjoy the route, the access procedure was simplified and self-regulated on July 1, 2007.

The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation will continue to make even more efforts to expand opportunities for enjoying cultural heritage and to create a variety of attractions, developing Hanyangdoseong of Bukaksan as a space of education for history and culture wherein history, culture, and nature coexist.
