1980'
  • 1980.04Founded the Association for the Preservation of Korea cultural Properties
  • 1981.02Entrusted to manage Korea House
1990'
  • 1992.09Renamed as Korea Cultural heritage Foundation (CHF)
  • 1997.11Entrusted to manage Seoul training Center for important Cultural Properties
2000'
  • 2003.04Established Korea Culture house(KOUS)
  • 2003.07Launched the Korea Cultural heritage Foundation as a specially legalized corporate body
  • 2006.09Established the Intangible Cultural heritage Centre for the Asia-Pacific(current ICHCAp)
  • 2009.10Approval for the establishment a UNESCO-authorized organization in Category 2
2010'
  • 2010.06International NGO accredited by UNESCO in the field of intangible cultural heritage
