Location: the grass square in front of Sungjeongmun Gate, Gyeonghuigung Palace

“Discover Gyeonghuigung Palace” is a pop-up exhibition where you can explore Seogweol (the Western Palace) of Joseon.

Exhibition structures will be installed throughout the grass square in front of the Sungjeongmun Gate. Resting areas with stool seating are available in the vicinity for a relaxing experience. The pop-up exhibition is open everyone to visit between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm from Wednesday, May 1, to Sunday, May 5.

The exhibition layout helps to easily and enjoyably experience, and learn about the history and structure of Gyeonghuigung Palace. Fun quizzes are available for everyone to solve using information gathered while strolling. “Gyeonghuigung Story Tablets” and information boards will help you solve the quizzes.

The “Gyeonghuigung Story Tablets” are information plates on the palace installed on low square stone pillars. They can be found in the corridors surrounding Sungjeongjeon Hall, the main hall of Gyeonghuigung Palace.
