Cultural Heritage Passport Tour

Program information

Our Stamp Tour has been upgraded to a Cultural Heritage Passport Tour.

Read the following instructions to start your Cultural Heritage Passport Tour in Korea.

1. Self Stamp Zone for your Visitor Passport

Stamps available at the “Self Stamp Zone” are eligible for the Cultural Heritage Passport Tour.

Please make sure you stamp your passport using a stamp at the “Self Stamp Zone.”

(Other stamps shall not count toward your final tally)

2. Checking in (stamping) with your Visitor Passport

If you have a Cultural Heritage Passport, affix each stamp on the correct page.

If you are a Korean national, please use the green passport.
If you are a foreign national, please use the red passport.

3. Checking in (stamping) with official paper available at the Self Stamp Zone

If you do not have a Cultural Heritage Passport, please affix each stamp on the piece of paper available at each Self Stamp Zone. Once you get your Cultural Heritage Passport, you can add the stamped piece of paper to your passport later on.

Here, make sure to use the paper available at the Self Stamp Zone. (Take one piece of paper only to make sure there is enough paper available for other travelers)
You can apply for your Cultural Heritage Passport online (“Visit Korean Heritage Campaign” website), and you can receive it either online or in person. (“How to pick up your Cultural Heritage Passport”)
Cultural Heritage Passports applied for online are sent out twice a month (second and fourth week of every month). Please make sure to apply for your passport in time for your trip to Korea.
You can pick up your Cultural Heritage Passport when you visit the offline pick-up location in person.

4. Using cultural heritage attractions featured on multiple routes

If a particular stamp counts for multiple routes, please affix the stamp on each relevant page.

(If you collect the stamp once, it will only count for one route.)

① Magoksa Temple - Baekje Antiquity Route, Korean Temple Monasteries (Sansa) Route

② Donam Seowon Confucian Academy - Baekje Antiquity Route, Korean Confucian Academy Route

③ Dosan Seowon Confucian Academy - Golden Era Route, Korean Confucian Academy Route

④ Bongjeongsa Temple - Golden Era Route, Korean Temple Monasteries (Sansa) Route

5. Checking in with your “My Cultural Heritage Commentator” app

You can verify your trip to a particular heritage using the “My Cultural Heritage Commentator” app.
